Deep Empty Words

I will always love her

Whoever she may be

Who knew I’d fall in love

With such anyomity.

Her grace flows like the wind

With every painted winter rain

Sprung from sweet smiling skin

(will I ever see her again?)

Never crossed my mind before

Nature seems akin;

As age blossoms your features

Beautiful as you’ve ever been.

Fighting for deep empty words

Running through my head

She is thought for the birds

(Next time I see her, won’t I be dead?)
