I knew I was gone

When you came

Brushing me away.

You swept through my life

Dazzled me with your light

And drew people your way.

I used to be you

Among crowds or fans

Screaming for my name.

But since you come along

I realized one thing

I would never be the same.

I was the king, the queen, the majesty

Until you took foot in this place

I ruled with an iron fist

Having everything I wanted

Until you came along.

And now

I'm currently gone.

Because you were once where I took my place.
